These chocolate salted caramel apple pops are the perfect after-school snack or a simple dessert for a party dinner. They are drizzled with a simple chocolate sauce and our homemade salted caramel. Then just add your favorite toppings to finish them off.
Ingredients for chocolate and salted caramel apple pops:
- Granny smith apples
- Melted chocolate chips
- homemade caramel sauce
- toppings of your choice- mini mm’s, coconut flakes, crushed roasted peanuts, sprinkles, and mini marshmallows
- lollipop sticks

Microwave the chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl for a total of 1.5 minutes. Making sure that every 15-20 seconds to stop the microwave and stir the chocolate, so it doesn’t burn.
Once the melted chocolate has slightly cooled down you can add it into a piping bag or just a regular ziplock bag. Make a small cut at the tip of the bag to drizzle on apples.
If you made the caramel sauce ahead of time and placed it in the fridge, just pop it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds until it softens up. Otherwise, let the caramel sauce come to room temperature before bagging it.
Wash, dry and cut apples into large slices then insert lollipop sticks into the apple slices. Now place them on a plate and drizzle the chocolate and caramel sauce on the apple slices and add your toppings.

Instructions
