This kielbasa sausage stir-fry can definitely be classified as a 30 minutes meal. It comes together in no time and it only has three main ingredients: cabbage, kielbasa sausages, and bacon. My boys aren’t too thrilled whenever I make stir-fry, however, whenever I make this stir fry they are excited because it not only has kielbasa sausage but also bacon. If you can’t tell, they are little carnivores! Served this dish over some white rice and dinner is ready.
Ingredients for kielbasa sausage and cabbage stir-fry
- Chopped cabbage
- diced onions
- kielbasa sausages
- bacon
- chicken bouillon *optional
- minced garlic
- oyster sauce
- salt to taste
Chop cabbage, onion, sausages, and bacon. Set aside.
In a frying pan over medium heat cook bacon until crispy. Now drain out the bacon oil leaving about 1 TSBP left in the frying pan. Add the onions and cook until onions are transparent. At this point, add in the kielbasa sausages and cook for 3 minutes. Now add in the chopped cabbage and minced garlic and cook for another 5 minutes.
If you noticed that the stir-fry is a little dried go ahead and add a splash of water.
Now add the oyster sauce and chicken bouillon and give it a good mix.
At this point do a taste test. If you feel like it needs more salt go ahead and add a pinch or two to your liking. This really depends on how salty our bacon is. So if the bacon has added a lot of saltiness to the stir-fry then there is no need for any. But like I mentioned give it a taste test and see what you need.
Now take off the heat and serve this kielbasa sausage and cabbage stir-fry with a side of rice.
